Blog Post #6: Savages

      In my group of the book club we decided to read Savages. I use to watch TV series that was about cartels and stuff, and I loved it. So, since this book is about cartels I liked a lot. Also, I liked the violence and the drama of this novel. For our reading process, we didn't scheduled the pages that we had to read, we just sit and talk. If somebody was behind, we tried to discuss wherever that person read. What I liked the best about book club is the different views that every person have about the books. When we discussed, I saw how different cultures have a different perception of what they read. The challenging part was to pick a theme for the Essay 3, because there are so many things to choose that you get confused. I don't think I would change something, I felt comfortable with all the process. If I ask you to do something different, I would say not to send us that amount of homework. But well, at the end of the semester you took off some homework and that was great. I chose this picture because is the first thing that comes to my mind when I think in the book.
